Quiet Retreat is a 2 bedroom apartment located in the back of a home within the gated community of Dorado Del Mar
Check-Out: Check-Out is at or before 11:00 a.m. Be sure to turn off lights, air conditioning and any electronic devices when leaving the property. Also, lock the windows and doors and return the keys. The guest must pay for lost or unreturned keys.
No additional guests/house parties: Guests agree that the premises will not be occupied by more people than the number indicated on the reservation. If you break this rule, you will be forced to vacate the property immediately without the right to a refund.
Pets: Pets are not allowed on the property.
No Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the property. Leaving the smell of cigarette smoke and/or cannabis inside the property carries a $50 penalty charge.
Bed linen/towels: Sheets and bath towels are included in the accommodation. Bath towels must not be taken out of the accommodation. Please do not eat on the bed and do not sit on the bed or furniture with wet clothes.
Bathroom: Do not flush paper towels, tampons, or sanitary pads down the toilet. Use the trash container instead. Unclogging the emergency toilet will incur an additional charge.
Damage: The guest must pay for repairs in case of any damage to the property.
Power Outages: In the event that the guest experiences power outages that are beyond our control during the stay, no refund will be made for the situation. Likewise, if the Wi-Fi service is interrupted for reasons beyond our control.
Pool: Guests are responsible for any situation that arises in the pool since there is no lifeguard service provided.
Guests will have full access of the apartment as well as the outdoor space that accompanies it.

June 2025We were visiting our family in Toa Baja so we needed a nearby place to commute to. This place was perfect for us. We had a total of four guests (two couples). This was a great space to give that privacy for each couple since each room had its own bathroom. The home has a great AC system, so you’ll always be cool, but if you are sensitive to a loud AC you may need to consider that (I considered it as a sound machine). The outdoor sitting area was cozy and private. The living room could benefit from a single chair, it only has one sofa so as couples we sat pretty close together. The space was clean and all amenities worked well. I will say this is a PR style home, so some aspects may feel dated but it all works well. My one complaint is the bed isn’t super comfy as a couple’s weight brings them together in the middle of the bed. The beach is walkable and restaurants are nearby! It was great! Would definitely stay again!

May 2025Porfirio was a great host! He was very quick to respond to any concerns. He had so many thoughtful items that we were able to use like his cooler for our drinks when we went out fishing. The place was very clean and I appreciated that his kitchen had all the useful things in it as well. A cutting board, good knives, all the plates and dishes we could need, dish and laundry detergent. It was centrally located! Loved the secure neighborhood too! Thanks for an amazing stay!

April 2025This place is super cozy. I felt at home. The place is very spacious and walking distance from the beach. If you want to take a break from the busy life, this is your place. Besides, Porfirio is an amazing host. Very proactive. Will love to stay again.

April 2025My Mom and I really enjoyed our stay. We mainly wanted to go to the beach each day and there is beach access within the neighborhood. I timed it and it is a 4 minute walk to the beach entrance, which was great. It’s about a 45 second drive. Having the chairs, cooler, and child life preservers was very convenient. My nephew used the life preserver so he could go deeper in the water with his siblings (they were at a separate Airbnb). The power went out for about 24 hours, but the home stayed a comfortable temperature. We opened all the windows (they have screens to keep mosquitoes out) and we slept with a lovely breeze throughout the night. The owner brought us 2 bags of ice to put in the freezer and refrigerator, which was extremely thoughtful. This place was perfect for us!

April 2025if you're looking for safety this place is for you. this place was very clean it's also located minutes from the casino and minutes from the local Beach.this Airbnb also comes with children's life jackets and a cooler. I felt very safe staying here. this Airbnb was very affordable

April 2024My friend and I celebrated our 50 somewhat years of our friendship. We were very happy upon just entering the unit and as we inspected it further, we had our own bathrooms, bedrooms....we loved how shower gel, shampoo and creme rinse were provided. We had more than enough beautiful, white fluffy towels to use. We appreciated the beach chairs as we used them everyday. The area outside the unit was really amazing and the little rain forest landscape was just so Puerto Rico. We loved it!!!
