Located in a quiet and residential area in Arecibo this home offers a peaceful atmosphere. You’ll enjoy a safe and convenient location in Arecibo, beaches, restaurants, and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
1. Check-out: Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. Please turn off lights, air conditioning, and any electronics when leaving. Close and lock all windows and doors, and return the keys. Guests are responsible for lost or unreturned keys.
2. No extra guests or parties: Only the number of guests listed in the reservation may stay on the property. Violating this rule may result in immediate eviction without refund.
3. Pets: Pets are not allowed.
4. No smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside. Leaving cigarette or cannabis smoke inside the property incurs a $50 penalty.
5. Bedding and towels: Bed linens and bath towels are provided. Do not remove bath towels from the property. Please avoid eating on the bed and do not sit on beds or furniture with wet clothing.
6. Washer and dryer: Use cold water only.
7. Bathroom: Do not flush paper towels, tampons, or sanitary products. Use the trash bin provided. Emergency toilet unclogging will incur an additional fee.
8. Damages: Guests are responsible for the cost of any property damage.
9. Parking: Use the designated parking space only.
10. Pool: Guests are responsible for their own safety in the pool; no lifeguard is on duty.

February 2026Stay was very clean & host was very responsive! Easy area to get around but you definitely need a car to make it easier. Ocean right across the street had bioluminescence at night which was very cool. Washer & dryer was a nice touch. The house was full of everything we needed. Host let us easily extend our stay when we informed them our flight was delayed!

February 2026It was a bit more of a drive than I expected. The house was nice. The pool was beautiful. The streets were more one-way streets and two way. There was a little dangerous at night to drive a couple times I had closed calls on the curbs but other than the driving, the house is beautiful. They could use one AC in the living room.

December 2025Porfirio’s place was absolutely amazing! The house is very open and a great layout for families. We loved being able to open the double doors and windows, and enjoy the nice ocean breeze while still having privacy. The outdoor space felt like our personal resort. We loved the pool, hammocks, and relaxing in the abundance of pool chairs. It was very convenient having a bathroom outdoors by the pool. We didn’t even want to leave the house with how nice it was! The house is very close to the ocean and I loved being able to listen to the ocean waves day and night. We enjoyed walking to the beach and taking in the breathtaking views. There are multiple swimmable beaches a short drive away that Porfirio recommended. These were also stunning and our kids loved it! There are also a lot of great restaurants in the area! The outlet mall is a short drive away. There are several nearby parks. I cannot say enough positive things about this property! We will definitely visit again.

We loved being outside of the city limits of San Juan but also being similar distance to the distance from the beautiful western coast of the island. The house has plenty of stairs but we let the kids stay upstairs. Definitely enjoyed our time, space, privacy, and peacefulness.

August 2025Porfirio’s place was a gem. So easy to access, spacious, and close to shopping centers. The pool was beautiful and so fun for the kids. We were able to walk to the beach for pictures (waves were very strong) and go to delicious food spots nearby. The house provides a lot of privacy. We definitely recommend and would return to Porfirio’s home.

July 2025The house was nice. Fit our family comfortably. There is ac in the bedrooms which was nice. The rest of the house stayed pretty warm. Pool was great. Walk to the beach was easy. There are alot of stray dogs and cats. Would be nice to be able to lock the trash up. Cats kept getting into it. The roosters crow early every day. Could use some dish towels for the kitchen. Buy extra paper towels. Would stay here agin.

We had a very pleasant stay since we were traveling for our daughter's wedding. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. I highly recommend it. We were very close to the beach, historic sites, shopping centers, restaurants, and other places. In short, we had an excellent stay.

April 2025We loved, loved the home. It was so beautiful and comfortable. We found the best convenient store right down the street. Quiet and neighborhood and super nice people. Having the beach across the street with amazing view and breeze was stunning and amazing. Porfirio is very quick to answer any questions and went above and beyond when asked for recommendations. Only thing missing is a generator incase power goes out would be a huge accommodation. If and when I come visit PR again, I would definitely want to come stay, there again. March 2025The house and pool were beautiful with plenty of places to sit and relax. The kitchen was stocked with a blender and pot and pans for cooking as well as lots of spices. The ocean across the street is private and breathtaking. People in the community were friendly and roads were easy to navigate. I was disappointed to find out that most local restaurants are not open in the beginning of the week. Next time we will change our stay to include the weekend. We also experienced sleeping issues with nearby dogs that barked through the night and roosters that started crowing at 4am. Overall a great place to stay for our first trip to PR!

The location was gorgeous and you can walk to a beautiful beach (not one that you can swim at but beautiful sights and there are great swimming beaches short drives away. Porfirio was super responsive to any issues we had.

February 2025This is a very attractive property with a really great pool, lovely outdoor space, and a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach. It is in residential neighbourhood, and not easily walkable to stores or restaurants; however, there is a large modern shopping center with several restaurants and outlet stores 10-15 min away by car. There were some challenges for young and elderly, such as a spiral staircase being the only way to get from the main floor to the majority of bedrooms. In addition, while there is a stove and microwave oven, there is no dishwasher or regular oven, and the washer/dryer were available on request. During our stay, the roof leaked in the kitchen after a night of heavy rain - this was a bit of a nuisance, but manageable. Our family of four adults and 3 young children had a really fun stay at Porfirio's Airbnb, and we would certainly recommend it for a vacation destination.

December 2024This house had it all! The inside space was amazing and then the outside space was spectacular! Beautiful crystal clear pool. Hammocks and swings! Perfect photo ops galore! And a BBQ grill too. And you can cross the street and be at the beach!
